One of the consequences of the degenerative process in the joints is the deterioration of the synovial fluid. Located between the articular cartilages that line the bone ends, it acts as a lubricant, giving the joint viscoelastic properties. Its composition includes hyaluronic acid which acts as a lubricant and facilitator in absorbing impacts that hit the joints. However, in the presence of arthropathies, its properties and concentration are greatly reduced.

viscosupplementation intra-articular is a minimally invasive therapy that should be considered in the treatment of osteoarthritis (in small and large joints), before moving on to more invasive therapeutic procedures such as surgery to place prostheses. Scientific evidence shows that in the majority of cases there is a improvement in painstiffness and swelling and in functional component of the joints of the individuals undergoing this procedure.

Recover your movement with Hyasem Cross

A viscoelastic gel with a high capacity to bind water molecules, it acts as a lubricant, normalizes the viscosity of synovial fluid and is used as a sterile gel to support intra-articular connective tissue. It contains sodium hyaluronate (NaHA) obtained by bacterial fermentation at a high concentration of 25mg/mL dissolved in physiologically buffered saline solution.

Natural and non-animal origin: is composed of ultra-pure, high-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate produced by bacterial fermentation. Hyasem Cross is cross-linked. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is believed to have improved viscoelastic properties and a longer residence time in the joints.
